What creates desire?
Why are some people more passionate then others?

We see it in everyday life, people willing to go to the edge of the earth for something to succeed... while others give up when things get even slightly difficult.

It all comes down to 2 factors.

1. Pain

2. Pleasure

That's it. That's really all it is.

Let me explain.

1. Pain.

Pain is a massive driver for some people... not everyone. Some of the most devastating times of my life have created the biggest changes.
I had very low self esteem, to the point where I was scared to even talk to people... hold a solid relationship and even slightly believe in myself.
It wasn't until I put a HUGE amount of pressure on myself to change! I'm talking a massive amount of emotional pressure, to the point of almost breaking me.
Instead of breaking down... I decided to learn. Put all my energy into learning from  others who have the "success" that I wanted.

Pain still plays a huge factor in my life, not so much emotional, more logical... I now believe if pain is apparent in my life, I'm settling.
There is obviously something I do not know, or not willing to go somewhere towards the pain. That's where I need to be.

Your ability to deal with pain and difficulty will limit the size of your success.

It takes courage. Burn the Bridges. Burn the Boats.

2. Pleasure

Pleasure is a whole different type of force when creating the type of life you desire.

Pleasure is about obsessively enjoying what you do, to the point where there is nothing else you want to do! Your mind shifts.
Think Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Elon Musk and anyone of great success in your life who never quits.
They enjoy the process so much that no obstacle is great enough to stop them from achieving there goals!
Pleasure came to me while on holiday in Europe.
At this time I felt a bit lost with my life, it was a consistent effort just to get up in the morning and my life seemed like a chore. Something I had to do, not something I wanted to do!
This is also a type of Pain.

So I ventured on a holiday for 6 weeks to Europe, with the intention of just a holiday... but what I found was so much more.
I found Pleasure! I found FREEDOM. I found Joy and a source of awareness.

The ability to ride a scooter through the Greek islands with very limited road rules, the ability to just explore and spend time concentrating on my thoughts and adjusting to other cultures way of living. Speaking to locals, gathering stories... eating beautiful food and delving into culture.

The great gift of understanding that you are as free as you believe you are, you make the choices of your life. Freedom was my experience and Freedom is what I have been working on since that very day. My mind could not go back as it was so pleasurable and exciting.

This was my pleasure experience.

It has been said that "You have to experience the life you dream of BEFORE you know that its actually possible" is totally true in my experience.
If you want be free, experience it.
If you want to be rich in life... surround yourself with rich people...
If you want a car, take it for a test drive.

This will shortcut the process and you may find the experience may not be what you after! BEFORE you spend your whole life chasing it.

I hope this makes sense, we are all about short cuts in life at healthy.org.au.

Burn the bridges. Burn the Boats.

We only have limited time, so find every short cut you can to experience the dream you want.

All the Best.
