I Have always been a homebody, there is nothing quite like coming home from a busy day and getting changed into comfy clothes ready to relax and unwind in your own space. Home to me is where I feel most relaxed and comfortable, but for others home might not feel like a positive place, although i do believe we all need to find our own space , whether it's in your room listening to music or reading a book or at your desk, they all count as a place you feel most relaxed. Today I will share with you all tips on finding your Zen space! because we all know we need time out for ourselves in a space we feel relaxed and at peace. How to create a 'Zen' space around you?Tip: 1 - Sound Music is soothing and relaxing. find a great playlist you love to listen to and when you get home use it to unwind and relax. when im home alone I also like to watch you tube videos or listen to Pod-Casts while im cooking dinner , I find it relaxing listening to other peoples voices as well as learning new ideas. Tip 2: Clearing your space I always find that i can think a lot clearer if my space around me is clear, Yes I know we all love cleaning, haha!! but there is benefits trust me. If your zen space is at your desk clear your desk, put your things away and out of sight. make it nice and clean as this will help with creative thinking and new ideas. Tip 3: Flowers Although I struggle to keep plants alive I do love having a bunch of roses in a vase on the kitchen table. Flowers have such a calming feel to the room and brighten up you'r sacred space. Tip 4: Aroma Scent can lift your mood and increase your energy level. I always have my essential oils close by as I put a few drops of Lavender essential oil in my difuser to freashin up the house or before bed to help me calm my body, Bare oils are my go to.Candles also have a calming affect on your environment. what makes you feel most comfortable in your home?Use these few ideas to better connect with what makes you feel more calm and centered in your home?
